(1) Enclosed Track (Interior Systems) - The FlexRail Railcar Fall Protection Systems provide an unprecedented 1:100 movement-to-weight ratio. The retractable lifeline remains overhead at all times completely eliminating any potential for an in-line swing-fall. The enclosed track completely eliminates dust and debris build-up providing a maintenance-free railcar fall protection system.

(2) Ice and Snow Build-Up (Exterior Systems) - The FlexRail Railcar Fall Protection Systems enclosed track completely eliminates snow or ice build up providing unprecedented ease of movement when you need it most. The retractable lifeline remains overhead at all times providing additional support on slippery surfaces. We actually recommend that the user “lock” the retractable and use it as additional support while walking.

• ii. Bypass Capability - With each user on their own enclosed track, multiple users gain the added benefit of bypass resulting in increased productivity.
  
• iii. Durability - All structural components are hot-dipped galvanized for added durability and corrosion control. The teflon wheels of the sealed bearing trolleys do not damage the coating resulting in years of maintenance free use. A life expectancy of 20 years, maintenance free, is not uncommon in most industries.
  
• iv. Unlimited Length - FlexRail Railcar Fall Protection Systems can be designed in unlimited lengths and are easy to extend when you expand your loading capacities.

• vii. Re-Certification after a Fall - FLS offers the only complimentary service-after-a-fall in the industry. After a fall, the retractable lifeline and full body harness should be returned to FLS for complimentary replacements. Most companies keep a spare retractable and harness onsite or we will rush replacements to you. FLS will send a technician to the site to perform a full system inspection free of charge. If the system is required to be used prior to our technician arriving, all we ask is the designated competent person on-site perform a visual inspection of the system in accordance with the inspection criteria provided at the time of certification.
